Red Circle Ad
Seen at Daniel Best's blog, here's a fun and seemingly homemade early ad for Archie's Red Circle horror line which highlighted Gray. This is from the program book of an early seventies Seuling Con. Note the misspelled "caldron." That would seem to be Gray himself in the middle. Who are the other two caricatured folks? Anyone?

Paul Kupperberg and Gray
Paul has a copy of the above issue on eBay that he will personalize if you wish. He wrote on Facebook: One of my all-time favorite art jobs on a story I wrote: the great Gray Morrow making a rare foray into superhero stories, penciling, inking & coloring DC COMICS PRESENTS #65 (January 1984)! I always considered this issue of DCCP to be editor Julie Schwartz's gift to me.

Perhaps even more interestingly, Paul has a copy of DARK DOMAIN listed, too, purchased directly from Gray new and signed to Paul himself.

Sunday Shannaras
We ran my own clippings of Gray's SWORD OF SHANNARA comic strip a while back but here are some lovely full Sundays courtesy of the ever watchful Ronn Sutton! Thanks, Ronn!

Capt. Britain Vs Rog 2000
Well, no. It isn't actually Captain Britain at all...nor John Byrne's beloved robot, Rog 2000...both of whom were brand new back in '76 when this painting by Gray appeared as a PERRY RHODAN cover.
